Will Harvard (and other schools) still accept my scores if I purchased to send them tonight? I have no idea if they get mailed or electronically sent right away.

Harvard accepts scores from tests taken up to January of the year in which you intend to enroll. So scores sent just now, as well as scores sent next month, will be evaluated.

Thanks! I assume other schools allow scores to trickle in a little after too?

Of course you can send them, but it’s up to them whether they’ll accept them and whether they’ll reevaluate your application using them.

For example, Stanford says that you may send them, but it may be too late. Doesn’t hurt to try! Just a few more bucks.

WHere do you get this idea? Don’ t toss your theories in to stir up needless worry. That’s baloney.

Harvard accepts SAT tests scores from the January 26th sitting. So, if they accept those scores – which will not be available until February – logic dictates they will also accept scores sent yesterday. Don’t worry. And contrary to what purmou posted, there’s no need to send them rush delivery either.

Whuh? I never suggested he rush them…

And what worry am I stirring up? You can send them–worst case scenario, they just dump them, but what if they end up helping you? Don’t see what you lose by sending them except for some money…

Admissions officers don’t even begin reviewing completed files until towards the end of January. You’ll be fine.

Harvard will even accept the February ACT for admission.

Stanford does say scores must be sent by deadline (jan 1)
I think other schools more lenient
