I am pretty sure I will receive a 500-600 on my Math 2 and Physics subject tests. I am applying to Berkeley, and some ivys, umich, ucla, ucsd, purdue…ect. for mechanical engineering.
Is it better to report a bad subject test score or report nothing?
Appreciate your help!
I would like an answer as well.
I would not report unless required.
What if it is “highly recommended?”
@Salutation I wouldn’t report them. They’ll only hurt your chances.
Why don’t you retake them in December?
It’s a tough call for highly competitive schools. You’d want to weigh what you truly know these schools look for and what you offer, overall, not just the flat view (it’s not just about a list of things you did.) Something needs to balance a poor score. But we don’t know enough.
For MEng, yes, the most selective targets will want to see your math-sci strengths.
