Is it easier to get into Notre Dame when you are Jewish?

Hi,
I just had a meeting with my guidance counselor and he asked me what was my religion, which is Judaism. I thought this may hurt my chances at some schools, however he said that a school like Notre Dame would be much more lenient and easier to be accepted to. If this is true that would be great considering my desire to major in Finance and quality of Mendoza. Is this true?

Also,
I am hispanic, would this make it easier also?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you definitely add diversity to the campus which is always a good thing. So in that sense, it will be easier for you to get in, yes.

How much of a difference do you think it would make?

Being Hispanic is definitely a quantifiable advantage, but I don’t think religion will play as large a role.

The Lady on top of the Golden Dome was Jewish, so it can’t hurt!

Can’t imagine it would matter one way or the other; admissions seems to be progressively tolerant of all applicants. Once you are in, you’ll note it is culturally it is a very Catholic/Christian campus, with absolutely no shortage of Catholic iconography, rituals, etc.

Trust me it will definitely help, and you will definitely gain an advantage because you bring ethnic and religious diversity to the campus. If you tell me your stats I can try to give you mlre clarity.
