GPA: 97/100 (puts me at 11th in class of 70 at blue ribbon school where top 10 students regularly get into ivies for reference)
ACT: 30C 31E 31M 29R 31S and 30C 33E 29M 29R 28S
SAT: 1350C 700M 650E
Subject tests: USHistory 720, taking physics and math1 and 2 dec 2 expecting 700 easily on math1 and physics
APs: AP english composition 4, AP Lit, APUSH 3, APWorld 4, AP Physics1 2, AP Physics 2, AP Calc AB
Honors: Honors english grade 9&10, honors history grade 9
EC: National Honor Society, 40 hours comm service, camp counselor over summer (paid), Model UN VP, Varsity golf
(could not do ec’s during freshman year because had to take care of grandmother explained in application
Common App: 8/10 reviewed by a few peers and eng teacher
Recommendations: Don’t know but at least 7/10

I think the white male hurts the most here.

I’m taking the ACT dec 9 and im actually studying for it this time so hopefully will do better.

Give it a shot - although you are actually hurt most by being OOS. If you were in-state, you would have a much better chance with those numbers.

Yeah i know and it sucks since not many good publics in new york in comparison to other college education heavy states like cali, michigan, virginia, georgia etc
