This my junior year and I'm taking AP Stats and all Honors class except english. For the next year, I'm planning to take AP Chem, AP comp.sci. and AP Calc AB.

Is it good idea to take AP Chem for the next year? Currently I'm taking Chem honors and I get B or B+( my teacher is really tuff)

It definitely depends on your capability to memorize a lot of concepts, even as simple as they are. You also need a sort of intuition on how to solve problems when they’re given to you. Other than that, the math is easy algebra, so you don’t need to be an expert at that.

Im taking AP chem right now, and let me tell you: its crazy hard. Most of the curriculum is based on applying knowledge indirectly. You have to fully grasp theories and ideas, then use it to explain the problem. If youre good with memorizing and UNDERSTANDING relations, youll do well.

I dont know if its just me, but my teacher only tests on 10% of the things she teaches. The rest of the questions are pulled from conceptual reasoning. Be prepared to devote much of your time to this class!
