Is it good to only apply for one school?

I was just recently introduced to the whole boarding school thing, so I only had time to apply to one, Andover. Do you think it looks good to the admissions office if you only apply to one BS?

Maybe if you are a legacy, but even that at a place like PA is no shoo-in. In general, no, it is not good to apply to only one if you are really interested in going. Your chances for admittance are about 1 in 9, so those are some steep odds.

On the other hand, if you really focused on just Andover’s essays, interview, etc., it could make for a stronger application. But I have to agree with PelicanDad. Keep a realistic mindset, and let us know how it goes!

Yes I know it is not a good thing to do that, but as I said I am VERY new to this and Andover was the only school in that area I really knew about. But my main question is, is does it look good to them.

No, it makes no difference. Every kid who applies would love to attend Andover.

My advice is more.And

.U can find many informations on boardingschoolreview and Google also.
