The reason I am asking is that I did business at a liberal arts school and will be doing a masters in IE. I'm taking all the leveling courseworking while working now. But Masters programs arent accredited by ABET.

In reality, I care nothing about a certification unless employers do. The jobs I would most enjoy doing are
1. Systems Implementation
2. Cost Analysis and Production Planning
3. Supply Chain
4. Quality Assurance
5. Manufacturing

Would anyone know if employers require the certification for this?

The college you’ll be going for that is offering the masters in IE should have an accredited bachelor’s degree. If not, look elsewhere. ABET accreditation is important.

Very few graduate engineering programs are accredited. On top of the IE majors really have no reason to get a license.

Having said all of that, I went the math-undergrad to engineering-grad school route, so technically, I have NEVER been ABET accredited…and have 20+ years in the game.
