Is it important to have all graduate school prereqs before sending in the application?

I’m planning out my schedule for the next two years (I’m going to be junior in college) and will be applying to biology programs fall of 2016. I still have to take the second semester of physics that is required by most of the schools I’ll apply to, as well as a second semester of Calc. Ignoring the difficulty involved in taking semesters off from subjects, is it a bad idea to take these classes in the last semester of my senior year, where graduate schools will not see them on my transcript? Does it look better if I take them so that they are present on the application that I send in December/January?

Thanks!

I would say that you should probably try to fit them in first semester so they show up on your transcript as being currently enrolled even if a final grade isn’t present.

Yes it’s a bad idea. Try to do them in order – you’ll get better grades and that’s important for your grad school application

By waiting until the last year for courses which are usually taken in the first or second year, you are sending a bad message about your confidence level. Take the courses as soon as possible.
