Is it just me, or has anyone else had this experience...

<p>Tell me if i'm crazy or not: Has anyone else had dreams about being at Dartmouth? I have had 2 in the past week and I am FREAKING OUT!</p>

<p>But seriously, as weird as it seems, I put Dartmouth on my list after a dream. I feel asleep in the basement and dreamt of a very green, tree lined campus with white buildings and for some reason thought of Dartmouth (even though the only person I knew associated it was my Little League baseball coach who was a pitcher for Dartmouth), so I went upstairs on the computer and saw on wikipedia Dartmouth's entry and the picture of Dartmouth Hall and felt a shiver go down my spine. The more I researched, the better it became. The virtual tour online was awesome. 2 actual visits were amazing. And their undergraduate attention oh so nice. </p>

<p>Dartmouth eventually became my #1 school, edging out that cursed U of Penn, what with its Philly location (I can live all my life in the city, very well might, why go to college there?) and hypercompetitive Wharton school (the Wharton info session was a total turn-off). Yeah that's right, after the campus tour I crossed Penn off my list completely. The whole time during the visit, I had a feeling inside that shouted, "I don't really want to be here." And that's why campus visits are super important.</p>

<p>Dreams are great, whether they're literal eyes-closed-have-them-while-sleeping dreams, or making-plans-for-the-future dreams. They both tell us something about ourselves, and that's always valuable.</p>

<p>Honestly, I forced myself to be happy if I got in, and happy if I didn't. I didn't want to be connected to any one school until I get in, so I wouldn't have to suffer much disappointment. Of course, best of luck to all candidates. It would be my wish that all of you could be there.</p>

<p>I had a dream the other night that I was on a distance run with the Dartmouth cross-country captains (even though im too slow to run there).</p>

<p>I told myself that i wouldnt get my hopes up but i just realized that they are .....WAY up. I just hope we find out this Friday like last years date suggests</p>
