Is it ok for me to have like a 70 college credit transcript?

you can have 999 units if they are all from a CCC , but only 70 will transfer over.

if you have both CCC and 4-year units the max is 80!

The max is 90 from what I heard. At least for UCSD.

ok look

quarter system schools , min 90 max 105
semester system schools (berkeley + merced ) min 60 max 70

actually for UCLA and Berkeley, you can have unlimited CCC + 4 year units if you're applying to L&S as long as you were below the 80 unit cap prior to enrolling and staying at the CCC.

it is actually benefitical to you to have over units. so that you only have 50 units (instead of 60) to complete before graduation. and you don't need to take too much random classes to fulfill unit requirement.

I feel like I've backed JetForcegeminix on this approximately 34,561 times. For UCLA if you leave your four year school with less than 80 semester units and then stay only at a ccc you can have unlimited ccc credits.

And yeah, for schools without a cap, having more credits is good. Less to do once you get to school and your stellar GPA at a ccc will balance out a UC GPA that might be worse.
