Hi there! I’m a junior interested in schools like Barnard, UVA, and Brown. I plan on studying Comparative Literature in college, with a concentration or double major in Film Studies. I have 5 AP’s and 1 accelerated class lined up for my senior year, as my school just put in this policy that doesn’t let us to move down past our teacher’s reccomendation (we can drop the subject, though).
So far, my schedule is:
AP Calc AB
AP Lit
AP Psych
AP Physics C
AP Studio Art
Accelerated French 4 (my school doesn’t have AP languages)
This is really strenuous for me, so I was considering taking a study for my seventh period. I would love love LOVE to take Video Production for half the year and Astronomy for the next, but realistically I’m not sure I’d have enough time. I don’t have a job, but I’m in 3 clubs plus do writing/journalism/art stuff during the weekends.
An alternative is I could drop Psych or Physics, but these are my only options for Science and Social Studies and I don’t want to drop the department.
Is it ok if I take a study for admissions, or should I take the other two classes?
