Most of the Colleges ask you to write an essay where they get to know you and the way you write..
But lurking in CC ive found so many or mostly essays about something else, and giving their point of view and all that.</p>

<p>The whole point of a college essay is to introduced the admissions officers to you. So, yes, it should be about you.</p>

<p>No, you want to tell the college about you - and what makes you unique and good for their college. Don’t directly say, but show rather than tell. Good luck with your essays!</p>
