Going to be a junior but want to take some summer classes in the next summer
Many internship programs require that you be returning to a University after the program ends. Certainly not all internships have this requirement though.
Why would you not just seek out a full time job? You could move on after a few months if you don’t like it. Not sure what the advantage of an internship is when you’ve already graduated. A full time job means you don’t have to worry if you’re going to be employed in three months.
I agree… if you have a college degree in hand, why on earth not just seek out a full time job?? A full time job means benefits, the opportunity for professional growth within the organization, a full time salary, an longevity.
I’m confused. You said you’re going to be a junior so you have this fall semester & spring semester before you’re even a senior. You do realize you can internship during fall/spring/summer and go to school right?
As for the criticisms of what the other people have said, my guess is that the OP is trying to get a specific workplace that generally does most/all their entry-level hiring through internships.
Note, I don’t think I can handle a full-time internship during the fall or spring. Aren’t internships full time? I was saying since I’m taking a class next summer, I won’t be able to do an internship that summer(class is in the morning). I’m probably not going to take a class though. And I would have already graduated 2 summers from now.
It’s best to do internship and skip the summer class. Otherwise you would be looking for full time work without internship. It’s called a job after graduation.
