Is it possible to get in with a 3.36 GPA?

Hi, I'm applying as a transfer student for the Linguistics program. My GPA is not stellar and I think that it might hold me back as I apply. Here are some other qualifications:

*In-state
* A.A. degree from Running Start program
* Had an impressive job at my CC at age 17 where I was responsible for a $45K+ budget, coordination of events, and sat on various committees with college officials
* 1990 SAT (570 Math, 690 CR, 730 Writing)
* Gap year with an AmeriCorps program as a literacy tutor in the most linguistically diverse ZIP in the entire country. Seriously, in a group of 7 students there are 5 different home languages spoken. Will have acquired 1700 hours of service to the Seattle community after the end of my term
* I also volunteer for Seattle Public Library, the Washington Talking Book and Braille Library, and do anti-racism trainings on Fridays with the social justice organization I am with
*In my free time, I take Norwegian lessons to get more in touch with my heritage

Let me know what you think! I appreciate any and all feedback. I'm just really worried about my GPA, especially with the level of competition that there is for slots nowadays.

I don’t know much about college admissions at all, but I’d be surprised if you didn’t get in. I’ve known people with worse GPA than that (and most likely worse SAT) who got in. But again, I know literally nothing about college admissions. Good luck!

It might help if you include your GPA :stuck_out_tongue: let alone that, you’re definitely bound to get in

It’s in the title! Haha :)
