If so, what school would you go to? Stern, Tisch, Gallatin, or CAS?

I would like to go into the business side of entertainment because I believe it is a bit more viable than a career in the creative side of entertainment. However, I've always found the making of movies to be fascinating so I'm wondering if it is possible to major in business and minor in film? Or is that completely absurd and not possible?

This question, or its variants, keeps coming up.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/new-york-university/1273081-nyu-tisch-stern.html

If you want to major in business, you’d be in Stern. (If one of your interests is music, you could also do Steinhardt Music Business, but that’s up to you.) You can then minor in either BEMT (Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology), or Film Production, or Documentary, as the case may be. You could probably double-minor in BEMT and Film Production if you want, but I’m not sure how strict Stern’s degree requirements are.

It’s definitely not absurd - I know someone at Stern doing exactly that: Business at Stern (Management or Marketing, not sure), and minoring in Film Production in Tisch.

You can also take some acting classes at Tisch - not the same ones as the drama majors do, but acting nonetheless.
