Hi, just last Friday I took the New York State Geometry Regents. I did put a good deal of study time towards it and found the examination pretty easy. I was certain that I got a 90 or higher. After checking my grade for it, I was highly surprised when I saw that I got an 86. I know that there is another examination in August. I did not fail, but can I retake it? If so, what do I have to do to admit myself for the examination? Thanks.
Well at my school you can retake it without failing. Most of the times they make you do summer school but since you got mastery the first time they’ll probably exempt you from it. Just talk to your guidance counselor or teacher about retaking it although colleges seldom look at regents unless you’re applying to SUNY’s and CUNY’s
