Is it possible to transfer to a 6 or 7 year Medical Program after a year in college? If so which programs?

there are programs that you can apply for which will guarantee you a spot in their medical school after two years. There was a list compiled, so search. I know for a fact that one of the SUNY's has this program and it is open to sophomores at any college.

Hi, I was just wondering, bruinboy, what would you use to search. I tried "guranteed med school admissions", "two year med school admissions" and my search turned up empty.

if that doesn't work search: "sophomore matriculation programs"

I was actually talking with a friend today that was thinking of doing this. The SUNY one is SUNY Buffalo. Anyway the requirements are kind of high. I think the average most places that do this want around 3.75-ish GPA and SAT's of around 1400. I was thinking of also doing this but I screwed myself on my SAT's but I'll still apply when I'm a sophmore

yes, as tangents said, these programs are usually VERY competitive and most have state residency requirements.
