I graduated school in the winter (weird time, I know) and it is a while until the next application cycle. I have so much free time that I want to better my ACT score. I plan to take the one in June (two months away) my test score originally was pretty low, but I took it without practice. I want to study hard and get it up in the high thirties (a pretty big jump)
I have no school no commitments and I live in a small town so there is not much to do.
I am pretty self reliant and have already gone to the books!
If I work really hard do you think I could attain a near perfect score within two months? Or even the one in the fall?
Should I waste my time, is it possible to obtain a near perfect score just studying on your own for a few months?
This whole situation really depends on which schools that you’re targeting as well as what score you already have.
Keep in mind that colleges will want you to do something productive during your gap year, and that studying for tests is likely not what they view as overtly productive.
Hi! I’m targeting some pretty selective schools, but I’m also just wanting to raise it for the possibility of more scholarships.
I’m doing med research during my gap year as well as this.
