Is it possible?

My problem: my high school only offers 3 ap classes, which you can only take as a senior.
Obviously I can't put my ap test scores from senior year on my app, so I will essentially have no AP credits.
Is it still possible to get into Ivies without any AP credits???

Yes. Have your counselor explain in his/her recommendation why you won’t have any AP classes until your senior year and the colleges should understand.

Will not having APs hurt my chances? In other words, will a person with lots of APs have a better chance of getting into the university than me?

No. The schools will look at you in the context that you live in. The high school my kids went offers very few APs. None of them had any AP classes until senior year. They all had some very nice acceptances. The school also has kids accepted to Ivy League schools. It won’t be a problem. You need to take the most challenging classes at YOUR school.

They look at the context for every applicant?? That’s kind of hard to believe.
