i just had a 12 ounce beer 2 hours ago. is it safe for me to drive now? or do i have to wait longer?

hmm, do NOT DRIVE....

REgardless if it is safe or not, you might get pulled over and get a nice ticket, not to mention the other hassles......

i usually drink at night (so i dont have to drive afterwards). but how long does it take to get a 12 ounce beer out of ur fluids?

Hmm....a little ironic to have this on the same page as that CCer who died from too much alcohol. Not the same as this situation, but slightly ironic all the same

12 oz should be out of your bloodstream in 2-3 hours.

More like 1-1.5 hours assuming your a healthy adult.

^^^i am 17

Your body gets rid of about a beer an hour. Honestly, you could pound a bottle or two and hit the road without being impaired at all (hence the legal limit being .08). However, it is technically illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to drive with any alcohol in their system at all. That said, one beer won't make you swerve all over the roads, and it won't make you reek of alcohol either, so there's no reason you'd ever get tested on it.

you should just wait an hour longer just in case.....i mean by know its been almost 4 hourr......so next time wait an hour longer...it wont hurt you, just save your life

Driving in general is not safe AT ALL. I just an airplane everytime, after all, it's 70% safer than via car. That's how I roll.

right.....so you fly your plane just to go to school, supermarket, friends house......boy you guys sure have lots of space for runways

psh its all about motorcycles - no traffic worries, parking is easy to get, and much more convenient for those short jaunts across town than a cessna :)

You guys should just learn how to fly. As in, Superman or Dragonball Z type flying. That's what I do. Much easier than using vehicles or walking.

no i just run.....much more comfortable.......or when im lazy just teleport.............more easier
