And if so, how would I do that? Just wondering, thank you!

I called the admissions office about this same thing. They said that you have to pay your tuition deposit and then fax them a request to change (they need stuff like your name, UF ID, reason for change, etc). However, the lady I spoke to on the phone said that they often do not approve the change unless there is a good reason.

^do you HAVE to pay the deposit?~!?!?!?

iw as told to just send a request according to this site (and other ppl):

[UF Department of Housing and Residence Education Undergraduate Assignments - INCOMING STUDENTS: Admissions Term Change Requests](http://ufhousing-incoming.blogspot.com/2008/02/admissions-term-change-requests.html)

Well if you were going to UF you have to pay the deposit by May 1 anyway, whether starting in Fall or Summer. They have said that they will not look at term request changes until after May 1 when they know how many people have enrolled for each term.

Thanks! My reason is simply that I want to get a head start and get used to the college before fall, but hopefully they’ll look at Fall -> Summer transfers more favorably.
