Is it strange to think...

^ Ha, great minds think alike. Here's hoping we both get into Yale. And Princeton.

Most everything in your files are scanned so readers have online access to the docs. That guy sitting by you at the airport with the laptop? Probably dinging you RIGHT NOW for poor grammar.

Just kidding...

Good luck all. Hope the wait isn't too torturous.

I invite anyone to try and tar/feather me, hang me, or burn me.

I will dismantle you.

On a side note, I'm really happy the adcoms are that committed to reading apps...I think...

I vote for tying him (her?) to rocks and throwing him into a body of water to see if he(she) is a witch...

:)

^ Oooh, that was a good Monty Python sketch!

ok this is a random sidenote but i have no idea whether any of u or guys or girls.
just saying...
oh yeah im a guy.
and when i say oh yeah i dont mean like oh yeah i just had to check to make sure.
i meant oh yeah like it would be stupid of me to write a post about not knowing the sex of any of u and then not include mine

True hermaphrodite.

I've come to accept that my application is in the computer version of a ditch in Reno.

^ They rejected your application in Reno, just to watch you cry.

wouldnt it just be easier for admissions office to report decisions as soon as they get to ur app???

6 weeks........feels like FOREVER

6 weeks feels a lot shorter than 40+ days....

All the ivies have an agreed upon notification date. This is for NCAA recruitment purposes and to prevent any "gaming" that schools might do to take advantage of any frenzy that occurs before hand. Can you imagine the # of irate calls the admissions offices would be getting before Mar 31 if they already let out decisions to early rejects/accepts? Why in the world even have SCEA if this madness were in place? There would be NO advantage for the schools to let decisions out early -- chaos would ensue and frankly, the applicants would get short changed.

Sorry, you need to be patient

When I got in, (EA), a bulldog sang for me. (Or at least I really hallucinated that the bulldog that popped up on my screen when I logged on to eli network was dancing and singing.)
Have hope future Yalies!
There will be bulldogs singing for you someday! =)
