<p>I’d say, yes… you would be making a mistake.</p>
<p>Brown has a great neuroscience department, and if you’ve been admitted to PLME, I wouldn’t pass up the opportunity.</p>
<p>Guaranteed admittance to med school outweighs anything either of the other schools can offer you. It’s something very few people on the planet have the privilege of being awarded… and Brown is no slouch in the sciences.</p>
<p>Something like half of the people who apply to medical school don’t get in the first time. Why risk it?</p>
<p>Open curriculum for undergrad, so you can really explore and grow as a person without having to worry about satisfying both a core curriculum AND pre-med requirements for a given major… I mean, it’s a no brainer.</p>
<p>Even though there’s tons of research opportunities in Raleigh / Durham (it’s called the research triangle around here for a reason), I don’t think it’s worth considering vs your other options.</p>
