I’ve been checking the boards from the previous years, and the notification seems to go out on the Friday of the second week in March. So could we possibly get our notification this Friday???

I can't help with that, but just wanted to say good luck to everyone who is waiting.

yea im kinda dying here... anybody know when we should be hearing? or at least an approximate range?

I believe I heard the first week of march via e-mail...

so tomorrow then... anyone as nervous as I am? maybe i should have applied to more schools ><

If it's true, I am a bit nervous--hopefully things will work out as I hope they will.

I'm a bit nervous too. American is one of my safer schools (I wouldn't put it in the category of definite safety, but it's safer than the schools that I'd consider regular matches), so I'm not as nervous as I would be for some other schools, but it isn't like I'm going to definitely get in...I'm going to be checking CC and the prospective student portal (or whatever the page on American's website is called) a lot tomorrow. Good luck to everybody!

So wil those who qualify for merit money find out tomorrow? Because if I'm accepted w/out money, that won't really mean anything.

Unless things have changed from last year, any scholarship information will be sent with the hard copy(snail mail) acceptance package, not through the email.

This thread is bringing back memories of one year ago. My daughter received her acceptance email on, if I recall, the second Friday in March, and her snail mail acceptance package arrived less than a week later. She's a AU now and is having a really good first year. Best of luck to all of you awaiting admissions decisions! :)

My portal thing isn't working completely (I can access it, but the personal links section isn't working); will the email contain the decision itself?

yes, good luck to all of you! and i'll agree with the general consensus that you'll hear within this next week! IT'S ALMOST OVER!!!!!! :)

good luck to everyone!

with all this hype, it would be a bummer not to get an email today. :(

but everyone will hear very soon, if not today. :)

no email here in IL

no email here in OH either... I've been checking all day. :-)

nothing in the midwest

Nothing in Indiana

nothing in new york

nothing in socal

booooooooo

it's probably harder for them to send out early notifications because of the increased number of applications. (assuming that what has happened across the country has happened at AU).
