I know one Stony Brook’s more popular majors is Computer Science but it was my #1 school and I still haven’t received any notification of acceptance or denial. My friends have also heard about their results but mine is still pending. I am unsure if this affects anything but I did apply to honor’s college.
I haven’t heard anything either. My friends all heard back. I know it is frustrating. Good luck. I’m checking solar every 20 minutes. Fingers crossed.

@CollegeCrayCray It’s not too late. I just got my acceptance yesterday to the comp sci program after reassurance from the dean last week.
Did you email the Dean last week or call? I am still waiting to hear.
I really dont understand how they decide. Two friends have lower GPAs and lower SATs. They didnt do any sports. They did clubs but so did I. No idea.

@CollegeCrayCray I simply went online found the email address for the admissions office… I’m also the first to go to college…
@“stonybrook hopeful” What do you mean by stats. If by “stats” you mean my test scores, averages, etc. I simply worked hard for my grades and my test scores.
@“stonybrook hopeful” I also attend a specialized high school, so I don’t want it to seem like I’m bragging about my stats. 
But if you really would like to know it, I would tell you.
