Is it too late to get in the super block?

I'm just now applying for housing because I thought it was still early ( the guarantee deadline is May 1st), but since a lot of other people applied, do you think it's too late to get into the super block. Frontier hall is my first choice, and if I get into bailey I'm going to slit my freaking wrists ( I have never heard or read a good comment about Bailey ever).

I talked to the Housing Dept last Friday. T-hall and Frontier are full, but everything else should be open even if you applied this week. Best of luck.

I am with you GMan. I applied for my housing on February 24th and my top two choices were Frontier and Territorial. I hope I get into one or the other!

What about Middlebrook, guys?

My top two choices were frontier and territorial as well but I applied about last week as well :/

As I said before, the Housing Dept said that these two dorms (t-hall/frontier) are most likely filled before they get to your applications because they are the only two freshmen-only dorms and it is in the Superblock.

But, I don’t know… maybe, you will get it – call the Housing Dept to make sure.

WithoutDoubt -

Middlebrook should be fine because not as many people apply there as their first and second choice as opposed to the Superblock’s Frontier and T-Hall.

Best

Thanks, kenny. How fast is Middlebrook normally filled, I wonder. What if I apply for housing in April? To be honest I am waiting for decisions from a few Ivies (crapshoots) ^^ But well, are there probably still slots for me?

If there is any chance that you might choose the U, definitely put in your housing deposit. Don’t wait … housing is in short supply and is assigned based on the date that you pay the $25 application fee (non-refundable). You could have sent this in as early as late November 2011 regardless of whether you were accepted or not.

May 15th is the last date that you can change your preferences, and that is also when the $250 deposit is due (also non-refundable).
