Is it too late??

im a sophomore in high school and i was moved to here so i never know anything about AP until last week and i decide to take about 3 AP tests this year, is it too late to start now??

im self-studying and how long should i prepare for the tests a day? is that okay if i just buy i prep book and study it?? the AP i plan to take are APWH, APPSY, AND APES, and i heard that APPSY and APES are easy, how easy is it?? thx a lot

btw, when should i register for the tests?

It is not at all too late. I’m not sure what APPSY is, but if you mean AP Psychology, then yes, that and AP Environmental Science are very easy. You can study those both in one month and easily get a 5. As for World History, it takes a little more time, but you definitely have way more than enough. I have self studied several AP tests and never started before March. However, AP World History covers quite a bit of material and you might need practice writing the essays, so I would start that now just so that you don’t need to stress about cramming it in last-minute.

You register later.

thx, and if im from Taiwan do i still need to take AP chinese or just leave it ??

Take AP Chinese, you won’t have to take it in college if you come to the U.S.

^Why would he have to take Chinese in college here…?

Hm, yeah you’re probably right I guess since j is a native speaker, I’m sure he doesn’t need to take a class then. Maybe it will just strengthen his application?

But he would never need to take a class. That’s the point haha. I don’t see what taking AP Chinese will do for him–it’s a waste of time and money if he’s already native.

j, you aren’t required to take any AP tests at all, so you may take whichever ones you like.

go for the ap chinese
