is it too late?

my track coach just wrote a recommendation letter for me for local scholarships and i really liked it....i was wondering if it would be too late to send it out to yale (and other schools as well)

I don't remember seeing anything on Yale's site about the date for supplementary letters of rec, only that they should provide new information about the candidate.

Assuming, of course, that you've already applied to Yale.

yes i have already applied to yale...

So, yeah, if you feel that the recommendation will tell them something new, I say go for it.

Right or wrong D e-mailed her AC and was told no new recommendations should be sent and that they base their decisions on the original recommendations. MB is varies between ACs, but that is what we were told.

bump, anyone else?

I don't think sending it in could hurt. The best case is they take it and add it to your file. Worst case is they say it's too late and it doesn't get added. I don't think you have anything to lose if you send it in, as long as it adds to your "overall picture".
