well. It is not a random conjecture

Not that many asians possess "citizenship" , right?

therefore, it might be easier for asians to get into WEst point than whites.

Don't ya think so?

For West Point, I believe it depends on the type of asian that you are.

Being an Asian myself, the odds are against us for major Universities... especially in the UCs.

Being an Asian doesn't hurt, but it doesn't really help that much according to people I have spoken to. The only type of Asian I see helping on admissions would be a Pacific Islander.

For USNA, I was never contacted by a minority outreach officer...

The goal of a diversified Corps of Cadets is to make it representative of the Army. It is my understanding that there are more Asian officers than there are enlisted soldiers in the Army at this point and thus Asians are not given any special preference when applying to USMA.

Asians are defined as having origins in any of the original people of Asia including China, Japan and Korea.

just being asian doesn't help all that much. However, if you know a strategic asian language (chinese or something), it may help.

how do you know "not that many asians possess 'citizenship'?"

Citizenship is a requirement for acceptance into West Point, unless you are one of the few international cadets.
