Is it true that Princeton prefers the SAT over the ACT?

I've heard that Princeton - and in general, Ivies - prefer the SAT and I was wondering if this is actually true and can make a difference in admission. I got a 36 on the ACT and a 2310 on the SAT, so is it in my interest to submit just the ACT?

They really don’t care. My friend took the ACT, received a 34 and was accepted to Princeton, Columbia, Dartmouth, and Stanford (C+D with likely letters).
