Is it true that state-administered ACTs are easier or have a better curve?

I think if you have taken the test before and used the same SSN for registration, you may be able to check the scores online earlier.

I wish the wait weren’t so long. :/

I just checked my D’s schedule last year. She took the state mandated ACT with writing on 3/5/2013 and we have downloaded the result by 3/28/2013. I remember the MC score came out around week earlier.

Update:
Just check my previous post again. My D received the score by mail a few days before it is posted online. So my previous memory of 19 days after test day to receive the score is correct.

Today marks the 19th day since testing, but it’s Sunday… I seriously want my scores!

^ Same here, really hoping they come this week

Got my score report in the mail today

Composite: 29
English: 33
Math: 25
Reading: 31
Science: 28

Not bad, did improve in science and English from last time (24 & 29), did slightly worse in reading (32), and stayed the same in math.

@willbill182 I didn’t get mine today, but I’m sure I bombed the science section!!! Was your score anything like you predicted/expected? What was the curve?? (If there was any)?

@wchristen89 I predicted around a 30, but a 29 works for me. Can’t really tell the curve unfortunately.

@willbill182 You can’t? Oh man that scares me, especially the science section!!! I definitely need a curve on that! And a 29 is a good score!!! Good job!!

So, do the scores come out at midnight? Not sure how exactly it works when the state issues it.

@Amt8787 My scores came in the mail, probably the place they’ll show up

That’s what I figured, but we had to call the ACT place today to cancel the April test, and we asked them if my scores for the state test back in March would be mailed or put online and the lady told us that they’d be posted online. So confusing! Congrats on your 29, too! :)

Do you guys who received scores live in Michigan?

@Awflapjackz I live in Utah

Eh, I got a 31. Kinda disappointed.

I think so. I definitely got questions wrong in the science and I still got a 36 in it.

How do you get your scores? Did you have to create an acount beforehand to get them? I never did because I read on their site that you can’t get your scores early from a state mandated test. When will they be mailed?
