Is it true that the English section of the ACT is the easiest for most people?

It seems to be the common opinion that English is easiest, Science is hardest... Which is a bummer because I have a 36 in english but a really low Science score of 24.. What is the general consensus?

English was my best section (36 as well) and even though I thought science was the hardest throughout my prep, it ended up being my second best section (at a 35). Obviously English won’t be easiest for everyone. Lots of people are more math or science oriented.

I think it’s too hard to try and pinpoint section is the easiest just because everyone has different strengths (even though I agree with you Science was the hardest for me)
English actually has the lowest average among all test takers

I personally thought the english was easiest (got a 35), but I’m very english-oriented and that section was mostly just memorizing grammar rules… Science was more logical deduction and the complex subject matter always got in the way for me.
I think a lot of people get lower english scores than they should get because they’re used to casual use and tend to forget the actual rules. I blame texting :P

Statistically students do best on the english section.

^ National Figures show that English is actually the ones where people score the lowest
Composite 21.1
English: 20.5
Math: 21.1
Reading: 21.3
Science: 20.9

my lowest score is english so that statistic is correct !!
i get like …

34-36 math
32-34 science
30-32 reading
26-28 english
