is it true what they say?

that it's much harder to change careers after you graduate? I have some friends who are stuck at decent paying jobs they don't really care about, but can't leave and so something they actually like, b/c the job is, well, secure. for some funny reasons, i kept pushing my dreams back because i knew that one day i was going to want to do them bad enough and will do it. but i kept doing things i didn't like, just to find out i didn't like it. kind of stupid. well, i think it's time for me to move on and do something i actually like. but is it worth it to do crappy jobs just to be able to stick to something you love? or would you be one of those people who takes on a decent paying job and tries to do your dream job on the side? i think that is actually even harder...

I think it's possible to do what you're passionate for, as long as you find a way to milk your passion.

But it would be very hard without a rich spouse or a "sponsor" :-(

I can't even imagine doing something I hate or won't be interested in. I'd be so bad at it that I won't be able to make good money from it.

P.S. I expected something sexual from this thread's title :-O

Ok I'll just stop posting now...
