I'm projected to finish high school with a 3.75 GPA. My current gpa from freshman and sophomore years is 3.66. In addition, I play both euphonium and tuba in the band and was one of the representatives chosen to attend the Bridgewater state honors band thingy. I also have played sports all 3 seasons since joining high school, although I only so far have played Varsity in track sophomore and junior years. I'm actually good at track and may receive a captainship next year but I doubt i'm good enough to make the team at Brown. Anyway, I took the PSAT without even studying or let alone knowing when it was and got a 208, which was 98th percentile among US juniors. I'm sure I will score at least a 1550 on the Reading and Math sections of the SAT (the parts that actually matter) beause I'm actually preparing. I will have glowing recommendations and my essay will be incredible. However I was rejected from the NHS because of a lack of leadership and questions about my character (lol). I received a 1 day in school suspension this year for hacking into my school ipad. I also have been tardy around 60 times in my high school career. I don't think those go on my transcript though lol. My grades and course level have improved since freshman year. Could I get into Brown? Or rather, do i even have a shot? (I'm 100% white btw lol)
