Is it worth finishing IDOC and FAFSA if no aid awarded?

The school I’ll be going to has no merit or athletic scholarships, only need based.

Based on the CSS, there was no aid awarded. It wasn’t even really close, the EFC is like $20K higher than the total costs.

And, the family income fluctuates a bit (self employed), and the 2015 tax return will show more income than the 2014 tax return did.

Is there any point continuing on with submitting to IDOC and FAFSA? Seems like a waste of time now.

Finish the FAFSA if you would like a direct loan. If you don’t want/need that then you can just let the college know you won’t be applying for aid.
