Is it worth it to apply for spring 2019?

I’e been through it all with this school. I was rejected for fall ‘17, had my reconsideration denied, finally admitted for spring ‘18, had that revoked due to a rough semester, moved my application for fall ‘18 And had it rejected, and then I had my reconsideration for this upcoming semester rejected.
A lot of things happened that were out of my control and life is just not the way I want it to be. I’m definitely going to graduate in 2021 instead of 2020 at the rate I’m going and I feel like crap. As of late, my GPA is only a 2.59. If I take courses at my CC this semester and do well, my gpa will probably be at 2.81. I want to apply again for the spring but I feel pathetic at this point. Is it actually worth it to apply? There is really nothing left for me to take at my CC that fits within my desired major at RU. This is so weird, but I am in a position to declare that major at RU already, bc I already satisfied the pre-reqs. I don’t know what to do at this point. I’m honestly so sick of rejection. Has anyone ever gotten into SAS with a 2.8?

If Rutgers keeps rejecting you why continue? Just move on.
Have you considered Rowan or NJIT? They’re probably more affordable as well.
I guess I’m not seeing why you need Rutgers as I’m not seeing the context or background.

Well I have taken a few classes at Rutgers already. I made it so that upon transferring, I can declare my major. Rowan and NJIT cost just about the same, but Rutgers truly offers what I’m seeking in a school. They have a much more established program for what I’m trying to study. Their graduate programs (including the masters in eduction) would actually help me accomplish what I desire

I’m so nervous. I was originally at Umass Amherst, but I had to take a medical leave during my second semester so basically I have a bunch of W’s. My first semester GPA was a 3.2 and now I’m applying to Rutgers NB to go into SAS.

I will have a total of 23 credits. I’m also taking two classes at Bergen Community.

Do I have a chance?

Hi,
I recently got into Rutgers Camden campus for a second bachelors (Spring 2019) which has the same application as transfers. my GPA is 2.82 and I never had D or F on my transcript. I think you can get into Camden when you have a GPA around 2.8. Still waiting to hear from the other two campuses.

Ayyy congrats! I didn’t apply to Camden, I only applied to New Brunswick. I’m doubtful, but I hope I get in

I am literally in the same boat as you. I applied for spring 2019 to SAS, SEBS, and the Bloustein school, but was rejected from SAS and SEBS. Hopefully I get into Bloustein. This is like my 5th time applying. Good luck!

Woah you already heard back from SAS and SEBS for spring 2019?

Yup, my portal was updated yesterday and I viewed the decisions today.

I’m so sorry to hear that. I wish you the best of luck with Bloustein. You seem to have a genuine desire to go there and you’ve never stopped trying. That’s what matters :relaxed:

I have a feeling things will work out for u. Just keep your grades up this semester and try to send in appeal if it doesn’t work out.

Just checked my status. I was rejected by SAS, SEBS, and Bloustein today

Awe thank you! That’s my goal, but my current semester is going to end mid December so I don’t know if the Rutgers schools will still be open for admission in order for me to appeal. I’m really sorry to hear that, try reconsideration after your semester ends, it’s worth a shot!
