Is it worth it to go to a prestigious undergrad school for pre-med?

<p>I'm thinkin about going to Illinois Urbana Champaign, but I heard their science and math courses are challenging.</p>

<p>I also heard that medical schools weight your GPA a lot more than the prestige of your school. </p>

<p>Should I rather "struggle" with the classes than say go to an easier school and do better?</p>
