Is it worth it to send a test complaint?

I feel that I had a very bad proctor for today’s SAT. She made several comments outside of the script (including “remember your audience in the essay”, threatened to dismiss me because I filled out the informational questions out of order (I’ve taken a lot of SAT and AP tests, so I started writing my name down while she was reading the grading information, and was already done with the certification statement by the time she got to it), while allowing a cell phone to make a noise twice (and then allowing the student to access their phone to turn it off) and a watch alarm to go off for about one minute (in which the student was also allowed to go into their bag to find the alarm). It seems to me that between these deviations from testing procedures, my specific testing room could have gained an unfair advantage or unfair distraction from the test. Should I send in a complaint, or are these errors too minor?

Ehh they’re probably too minor. You have to be prepared for unexpected circumstance such as those you described.

Since you may have committed a violation yourself, I would hold off. I agree the phone is annoying and a violation, and would disturb me too, but in this case i would leave it alone. The best they would offer you is a waiver for another test.
