Can I consider IU a safety for me if I qualify for direct admissions into the Kelley School of Business?
GPA: 3.5 UW 3.85 W
ACT: 30
Do you know for certain that you have all costs covered by family funds or assured grants? If not, then how can it be a safety?
You’re OOS for IU. What have your parents said about paying the high costs for IU?
@mom2coIIegekids My parents would be fine paying the costs for IU, so finances are not an issue.
Yes, you will almost certainly get in. If you can afford it, you will get a great education at a top 10 business school in the country.
@iubaccounting But why would I ALMOST certainly get in? Wouldn’t I automatically be admitted? I am just trying to understand if it would be automatic admission since I am a direct admission candidate.
Technically you aren’t guaranteed admission to IU, but you will get in. There’s nothing for you to worry about, but in order to be offered direct admission, you must be accepted into the university first. I qualified for DA last year, but I still had to be admitted first. Basically if you have the stats to DA, getting in is a technicality
