Is LSA Honors worth it for premed if I'm not going to live in South Quad?

I was accepted to LSA Honors, but I also want to apply to the Health Science Scholars Program, another living learning community. The problem is that if I apply to another community, I forfeit honors housing even if I don’t get into that program. I heard most students just do honors to live in south quad and that as a premed, honors is useless and its harder to get a high gpa. Is that true? How much stressful is honors for premed students? Is it worth doing it if I cannot live in South Quad? I will be signing up for orientation once I get the email next week, and I will have to decide if I will go to an honors or regular orientation.
