Is Materials Science Engineering Good for the Future?

how is the career prospects and outlook for this job?
also how is it relatively to other engineering jobs (specifially CS, chemE, elecE)
if i gradaute in 2022 can i still get a job or do I need a MS?
in California how are jobs and how hard is to get one?
lastly, are materials engineers happy?
