Everyone says math is easier to improve but for me I just can't nail it.

I'm a good math student but the SAT math just kills me. I can't even crack 600. I'm taking the SAT again in October 07' so this summer I need to practice math more than anything.

How exactly do you approach math when trying to improve it? Do I just focus on the easy ones right now and ignore the hard ones? What is the best method?

i get a pratice book and do a section.
section 1: 10 out of 15. d'oh!
section 3: 11 out of 15: d'oh!
section whatever: 12 out of 15: d'oh!

and so forth. diminishing returns dude, you gotta keep doing it and doing it and doing it and doing it until you basically rid stupid mistakes and what they want you to answer. you'll notice they always give stuff like

if 6x + 4 = 12 then what is 12x + 8?

you get familiar with what they do and do READ THE QUESTION. the SAT math is otu to get you and if you do not be careful you will get caught by stuff like that.

There are only so many types of questions the math section can test you on...once you figure out what they are, it's easy to know what to study for.
