Is McGill University expensive for Americans?

I'm a junior in high school, and I've recently fallen in love with McGill University. My parents view the idea of me going to college in Montreal with great skepticism. They constantly bring light to the issue of tuition (we won't qualify for financial aid yet we cannot afford to pay huge tuitions), and I was wondering how expensive McGill is for foreigners. I know that being a Canadian university it is normally much less than American schools, but for international students is it any different? If anyone from the US attends/attended McGill (or knows someone who attends), insight into the cost would be much appreciated.

McGill is less expensive than most private American colleges for American students paying full tuition. If you study their website, you will see that the tuition varies from one division to another. Some do not cost much more than public colleges would charge state residents; others cost closer to what public universities charge out-of-state students. It is very inexpensive for Canadian students. The actual costs will also fluctuate according to the value of the Canadian dollar. If you are an international student, you will probably find it less expensive than the vast majority of American colleges.
