I want to major for business management, but I don't want to go to a school where I'm not going to be able to get a good job after school.

Does anyone know anything about the reputation of Montclair?

Since I’m from NJ also I would say Montclair Has a good rep for education majors but it is not quite up to the standards from TCNJ and Rutgers. What other colleges were you planning on applying to?

My other main ones were Rutgers, Penn State, and Pittsburgh. I’m not sure where else I would want to look. I really do not care for Rutgers at all and I couldn’t get into TCNJ. I’m also thinking of reputable schools that I can actually afford, and I know that Montclair could award me a good amount of money based on academics. It just freaks me out that they may not be able to get me a job.

Yeah I applied to Rutgers just cause its my state flagship school but I had no interest whatsoever in going or even staying in NJ. Rutgers has a good bussiness school and for a pretty affordable price compared to oos publics. I applied to both Penn state and Pitt this past year and personally prefered Pitt I didn’t like Penn state after the visit. Penn state’s business school smeal has a very good reputation but they are very stingy on aid when it comes to oos applicants I received zero aid. I would say apply to TCNJ definitely you may not think you will get in but that is really up to whoever reads your application, you may receive a pleasant surprise. A good amount of kids get into TCNJ from my school and there were people who got in this year that it was a reach for.
