I'm currently a freshman in the business school at Rutgers in Newark and so far I don't like it. I don't like the campus nor the area and the classes are too big for me. When I started the semester I wanted to transfer to Rutgers-New Brunswick, but I realized the classes are even bigger there. I'm thinking about transferring to Montclair because the classes are smaller and the campus is very nice, but many people have told me that transferring from Rutgers business to Montclair business isn't a good idea. I don't know whether I should transfer or stick to Newark for 3 more years. Would it be dumb of me to transfer out? Also, I'm majoring in marketing, wanting to go into advertising, and most of the students who get good internships from RBS are finance or accounting majors and I don't know whether or not job/intern opportunities at Montclair are good. I'm also thinking of getting certified to teach, if it's possible, but I don't know what to do. I was also wondering what GPA I would need in order to transfer? Can anyone help?!

Stay at Rutgers and eventually switch to NB. I have a friend currently in Montclairs business school and is transferring to Rutgers because he hates it there.

Stay at Rutgers and try to transfer to New Brunswick .Montclair State is a sub par school compared to RU
stay at Rutgers .Recruiters are very keen on RU grads and not so on Montclair state .Its a fact like it or not
I’d say stay at Rutgers Newark. It’s a bit better academically. Montclair’s a good school, but not worth the transfer hassle
