Is my common app essay too cliche?

Would anyone be willing to read my essay?

Basically I wrote about my family issues that happened my second semester of junior year.

My mom was diagnosed with bladder cancer and her post-surgery narcotics negatively affected her episodes. This went one for 5 or 6 months where she would have frequent episodes. My sister, who was left alone with her a lot because neither of them could drive, snapped and was sent into a behavioral hospital for clinical depression. And basically I had to cope.

The essay exactly hits 650 words, so it's tricky to edit. But please, by all means critique me!

If the essay shows a lot about you, and the family issues just are there to show the circumstances, it should be fine. If not, then it may be too cliche. I’ll take a look if you like.
