It's a little less than 1000 words, which I know is much longer than the average and the recommended. I feel like it is still very interesting though, and if I take any more out, it will lose what I want it to say.

Isn’t the length 250 words?

Is it just me, or did the essay used to be 500 word cap?

Actually wow I can’t read.
It’s 250 minimum.
PHEWWWWW I was gonna cut half of my 500 word essay hahaha XD

I dunno dude, sorry I can’t help, but I just saved my own butt

bumpppp please

As long as it flows, is interesting, and isn’t redundant within itself than you should be fine. If someone who reads it is able to stay engaged throughout the whole essay and come away with a better sense of who you are as a person, than you should be fine. I’d advise that you let it sit for a day or two and come back again and check to make sure that all of the essay is truly necessary for the reader to learn about you as an individual. If an idea or paragraph isn’t necessary or is even superfluous, then cut it out. From what I’ve heard, though, people have gotten into college with longer essays. Just work until you feel that everything is absolutely crucial and then you’re done cutting down.
