My Essay is 750 Words. Too Long?

<p>Is it too long? I cut 200 words out to make it 500 last week, but hated it. It seemed to take all the personality out of it. I much prefer the version thats a bit over 700, but is it too long?</p>

<p>Well, we need some more information. Which essay prompt is this? Is it the CommonApp one? A supplementary one for one of your schools? If it’s a supplementary one, is there a suggested word limit?</p>

<p>500 - 750 is good. If you can cut out 50-100 more, it’d be even better.</p>

<p>It’s the CommonApp prompt. I’m leaning towards just sending it in as it is (with editing, obviously, lol)</p>
