Is my friend screwed?

I'm a Freshman, and he's a senior. It's nearing the end of the year and he's deciding on which college to go to. Right now, his overall G.P.A is 3.65 or so; he basically got 3.0 freshman, 4.0 sophomore, 4.0 junior, and 3.83 senior.

Is he going to be able to get into an above average college?

Depends on his dedication, what classes he took, essays, and ECs. He has a fair chance to get into an above average college, good upward trend too.

Wasn’t the deadline in January?

Well, he’s pretty well rounded. He didn’t do a sport Freshman year, but he did tennis for sophomore and junior, I believe. He’s also in Library and Vietnamese club like me. I think he’s also in Key club and his taking all honors or AP classes possible by the school excluding English.

He already applied to a crap load of colleges, he’s just wondering if he can get accepted to the better ones.

i say he’s the state type - if you guys are in California, probably UCLA, UCSd, UCI, USC. but probably not that much of UCB or Ivy

In short, yes. But shouldn’t your friend have heard back from all of the schools he applied to by now?

^ Haha yeah. Everyone’s already confirmed to the college they will be attending haven’t they?
Unless your friend is on a waitlist…
