Is my list realistic?

Hello, I’m currently a student at Palm Beach State College. It is not technically a community college anymore, but it has 100% acceptance rate so… I’m going with community college transfer to describe myself.

Anyways, I’m a 24 year old honors student involved with PTK, and have a 3.8 GPA. I plan to transfer as a Junior with my AA. I’m a Finance Major. My high-school grades were… low. Some of the schools on my list require High School transcripts, some don’t. I have a Resume and work experience to show for the time I was not College.

Here is the list of schools I plan on applying to, my question is are they realistic given my credentials.

  1. University of Florida
  2. New York University *Reach
  3. City University of New York – Baruch College
  4. Fordham University
  5. Indiana University – Bloomington *Safety
  6. Boston College
  7. University of Central Florida *Safety
  8. University of Connecticut *Safety
  9. University of Miami
  10. University of Michigan – Ann Arbor *Reach
  11. University of Rochester
  12. University of Texas At Austin
  13. University of Virginia
  14. Florida Atlantic University *Safety
  15. Villanova University

What is your home state? A lot of these are public universities which will be very expensive for out of state students. Remember - a safety is a school you have the stats for, a school you like, and a school you can afford.

Florida is my home state.
